Western Sustainability Exchange (WSE) is a sustainable development non-profit whose mission is, "to advance sustainable choices that enhance economic opportunities which preserve open space, wildlife habitat, farm and ranchlands and quality of life for future generations.”
WSE advances sound stewardship practices which create a healthy environment, culture and economy for the rural West. Through education, the creation of economic incentives and by fostering partnerships we are dedicated to advancing sustainability.

Market Connection Program
WSE's Market Connection Program markets sustainably produced products for farmers and ranchers who are outstanding stewards of their land to culinary and natural food markets. The fourth annual Commerce Day was held on Monday, February 2nd, at Bridger Kitchens in Four Corners, Bozeman. This event is Montana's premier training and marketing event for farmers, ranchers and all purchasers interested in using sustainably produced regional foods.

Farm to Restaurant
This program publicizes the story behind the people, products and services
involving local food in the area. It links Montana products with
Montana restaurants in the Gallatin Valley, Park County and Big
Sky areas.
Livingston Farmers Market

Harvest Celebration Dinner
This "sustainability tasting" event showcases regionally renowned chefs and food grown on Montana’s sustainably managed farms and ranches.
Save the date! The 2009 Harvest Celebration Dinner will be held on Friday, October 2nd at Chico Hot Springs & Resort in Pray, Montana.
